Yep, use JL_Cmder to wipe it. Then attempt to reload the OS.

Then there is a loaderbackup .ipd file that has all your data in it that you can manually restore back to the device once it's up and running. When this happens the only thing you lose is 3rd party apps. You'll have to download them again.

It won't power on, correct?

Please follow the instructions given and you will likely be up and going shortly.

wipe the device with JL_Cmder. Then run Loader.exe again and attempt to load the OS again.

ok once i do this how do i get my info back, i can not find the folder that you are talking about, i am new to this so please explain to the best you can, I am sorry, I probably should not of even attempted this by myself.

I have tmobile and a 8310 at&t bb. Please help me, i am worried all my info is gone.

I have attempted to install the os with application loader and it currently says erasing applications and then the next step is device installation but it does not say anything about installing my info.

Please LISTEN and SETTLE DOWN and you will be fine!

I told you there is an .ipd file, a backup file, that was made automatically. Your data is NOT gone. You will have to manually restore the data once the OS is installed. Let's get the OS loaded first. Then we'll worry about the data.

Just walk away from the computer and come back in about 30 minutes. DO NOT disconnect it. Once the OS loads it will take about 20 minutes for the device to reboot (hourglass will spin.) It will look like it's never going to boot, but it will. Once the OS is loaded and the device boots up, post back.

Let this be a lesson, by the way, to make frequent backups. The loader process made one for you but you'll want to make backups at regular intervals using Desktop Manger if your data is this important. don't worry about this right now but keep it in mind for later.

it says the software has been loaded, now you say it will have an hour glass for about 20 mins, thats cool i will repost when it finishes.

Now all applications and programs will be loaded just as if i went to the store and bought this phone brand new correct? I will just have to install 3rd party apps like games etc.. Correct?

Everything will be normal and all i will have to do is reinstall my info Correct?

thanks for the patiences

how do i know what os system is being installed, the whole purpose i was doing this is to move from a 4.2 to a 4.5 OS and i hope that in my panik attack i did not install the 4.2 back on, that would be stupid of me, and a waste of time. When i go to the c: and find the app loader is says version 4.3 i dont know where that came from and also some of the other files in the folder say 4.5 and i dont know where those came from. any ideas.
