I recently purchased an BlackBerry Curve, which I upgraded to allow me to call internationally. We have Verizon wireless as our cell phone provider. I recently attempted to send as sms to my brother who lives in Indonesia, and he never received it and it was never marked as delivered in my out box. I have attempted to sms several other contacts in Indonesia without any luck. I do not receive any message telling me that it is undeliverable.
The country code for Indonesia is 62, so I dialed 01162811483037
Any ideas out there to help me? Thanks.

is the problem only to Indonesia or to other countries as well? maybe contact Verizon and see if there is any restriction on their part. using Tmob I text to Philippines and Thailand without problems.

Try using the mobile phone standard of "+" in front of the country code instead of 011. 011 is how you start dialing an international number in the US, but it's different in other countries. Since the number has to be passed from Verizon to the Indonesian provider for delivery, that might be throwing it off.

So the number would be: +62-xx-xxx-xxxx instead of 011-62-xx-xxx-xxxx

It should work, I text in France without any problems.
