Default open GPS on VZW8130 w/ non-VZW OS?

Please Login to Remove!

Simple question:

I know GPS is blocked on VZW 8130's except for use by VZ Navigator, but what if you install a non-VZW OS, such as Alltel?

Thanks,

Michael

Doesn't matter.
The block is at the firmware level, not the OS level.

Search the threads... If it was that easy a fix then VZW users would have been using their built-in GPS receivers years ago.
