Default Blackberry Password - Help

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know of a work around with a Blackberry Password that is enabled and isn't apart of the BES Server anymore. The email account associated with the blackberry has been deleted.

Any ideas or tips would be great.

If you are trying to clear the password and don't know it type the wrong one in 10 times and the device will reset. If you are talking about making a password mandatory then you will need to remove the IT Policy, see:

Even though the device isn't apart of the BES anymore? One of the BES admins removed the device and another group deleted his email account.

Yes, even though.

They didn't remove the IT Policy from the BlackBerry.

Pardon my ignorance but if the device isn't on the BES how do I get by the password even if the IT policy is still applied to it.

The IT policy doesn't really matter -- you should know the password. I mean, if the device locked when it was on BES it would have locked with the same password even after taken off BES.

If you don't know the password your only option is to enter it incorrectly 10 times and wipe the device.
