Hi All,

I have a BlackBerry 8120 and have had it about 8 months. Its got to the point where I have to do a battery pull about 2-3 times a day, surely that can't be right?

I can only have a few texts in my inbox, and I will see it receive a text, then it will vibrate to alert me but instantly the text disappears!

I have google maps, facebook, myspace and MSN installed as applications.

Is there anything I can do to free up space and stop this from happening?

Maybe a memory leak. Before you do a battery pull, what is your free memory?
Click options - status.

You may also have too many apps on the device.

Before I pull the battery its 3483583 and when its turned back on its 3656167.

I always close my apps! (by going file > close).

What about photos/videos/pictures/ringtones? Are they stored in device memory or on your media card?
