Default Blackberry Tunes

In the sound profiles area in my BB there are a list of tunes. How do I apply those to calendar alarms and email alerts?

Thanks

John

You need to edit a profile. Under "Profiles" click on the profile you want to edit, then scroll down to Calendar, click Edit, then you can select the tune you want to play for a calendar event.

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

^^ this is something you are not going to be able to do, at least on my 7520 I can not. Can someone else confirm.

It can't be done. One day, someone will likely develop some software that will allow that, but its not available by default.

confirming, you cannot assign certain ringtones to certain contacts.
you can kind of do it with certain e-mails, through use of filters/LEVEL 1, and MetaMessage.

Message Alerts from WebMessenger is designed for that purpose as well.

There's an app called "Notifire" on Handango.com that looks like it should do what you're looking for - says it works on Blackberry OS 4. I've never used it though.
