Is there a way to download my contacts into my blackberry software. Then print out the list of contacts for backup purposes?

Only way that I know of is to sync your BB with outlook or outlook express and then print your contact from the respective program.

I'd suggest syncing or using the Backup utility in Desktop Manager if your intent is to backup the address book. That is, assuming that you also intend to be able to restore without keying in all the info for all your contacts should the need arise.

You found the only solution that springs to mind. I've used ABC's BBerry solution for several months now at my place of employment and find it well worth it.

Very handy utility I think.
