How do I setup my BB so I stop seeing these ugly check marks each time I send an email? I found out the hard way that once I delete the check mark in my inbox, the sent email is also gone. I don't want that.

press ALT and I (though this will display all filed messages aswell). to view inbox go to view folder, then select inbox.

you will always see the check marks just part of the OS
