Default Track BB device IP to carrier

I was wondering if you could track a blackberry device back to the carrier by it's IP address. Does anyone know about this? I have tracked my IP back to RIM but not to the carrier.

Thanks!

I think you answered your own question. If the IP is RIM's how would you track it to the carrier?
