Default Help! SIM card rejected...

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone. Please pardon the ignorance here, but I have an usual situation and was hoping someone could help.

Here it goes.

I was given my 8300 from my work before I left my position. Basically, I knew that my service would be cut off and would be using my iPhone for basic functions, but I was hoping that I could still PIN to PIN other blackberry users.

Now, I see that my SIM card is rejected and I have an SOS in the upper right corner. I have unlocked the security and reset the PIN, but still nothing.

Do I need to buy a new SIM card? Is that possible? Do I have to reactivate service in order to just PIN someone?

Many thanks!

K

Yes, you would have to have an active SIM on an account which has an active BB data plan in order to PIN.
