Default Separate contacts on BB

Please Login to Remove!

I want to know if I can have a 2nd set of contacts on my BB
Its a Curve 8310 with 4.5 os on it.

Right now I use BIS and haven't synced it in a very long time because I have all of my personal contacts and business contacts mixed together on it.

I would like to find a way to put my personal contacts in a separate area so they don't sync.

Also, we bought Blackberry Professional Software and will be installing it on our new exchange server once we get it set up and our accounts moved to it. BPS is BES for all intents and purposes. So it would need to stay separate in this instance also.

Thanks

Scott

I don't think you can separate it into a different area. The only thing I know of is assigning categories to keep things somewhat distinct.

Categories will be the easiest, if you sync it with outlook you can select multiple contacts and edit them at the same time then resync, might be easier for you. depending on how contacts/free time you got.

For this sync filters are probably your best bet. I've never used them myself as my personal and business BB's are entirely separate. I'm not entirely certain if sync filters are supported for BES/BPS though. I'm also assuming that you could filter on Category or some other criteria that you could flag your personal contacts with.
