I LOVE MY 7290!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE T-MOBILE AND RECENTLY DISCOVERED THAT WHILE I HAVE A HEADSET ON AND I AM ON THE PHONE ON A CALL, I CAN SEND AND RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES! WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This is possible on most GPRS phones; except on networks which use GPRS for SMS. Obviously your carrier uses GSM for SMS.

This is also possible on CDMA 1X. I'm not sure about iDEN though...
