I have a blackberry/bes account and now my wife is thinking that is for her too

I want to let her play with one (spare I have) for a few days with one before I spend the jack on a new one.

Question - Can I install the 4.1 desktop client and set it on Desktop Redirector - then sync via USB? I would like to get her calendar and contacts on the device so she has some data to play with.

You can sync calendar and contacts without a data plan... but you can't do any type of e-mail transfer or web browsing.

Got it working tx...didnt expect data...just wanted to test PIM. Never done it w/o a BES...
