Default uPpEr-case or LoWeR-case?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I learned from this forum that I can change an "auto" capitalized letter with backspace(DEL) if I typed the word in Suretype. But I cannot use that when I use Mulittap which is bad as I often have to do so. Any trick here?

And, in general, how to I change certain letters from upper to lower-case and vice versa after I typed in a word or checking a text and figuered I should change it. I guess to change from lower to upper can be done by deleting the letter and pushing and holding the letter again, but how can I do it the other way around as well (i.e. if it is at the beginning of a new line and autotext or whatever changes it back to upper-case automatically)?

Thx!

Highlight the letter then turn the click wheel.

Thanks for the info but when I turn the wheel I highlight the next letter and still do not change it?

Btw, it is a T-Mobile 7100t if that makes any difference.

It's been a while since I used a 7100, but I remember having a very difficult time entering passwords that were case sensitive and began with lower case letters. The auto-capitalize feature drove me crazy. I recall the only way I was able to register a Reqwireless product (Email Viewer) was create a new note in the notepad and cut and paste the text to the Reqwireless password field. It's very cumbersome but it worked. It's only a viable option for occasional use.
