Does anyone know if you put in an all day event but the show time as is set to Free does the Blackberry Wireless sync supposed to put that on your calendar or does it only do active appointments.

Funny you should ask. Some of my users (and me) are having problems with All Day appointments.

If someone creates an All Day appt and sends it to me (with the time marked as Free), when I accept it from Outlook it puts it at the top of my calendar and keeps the time as Free.

However, if I accept an All Day appt from my Blackberry (with the time marked as Free when the person sends it to me), it will change the time to BUSY when it shows up on my Outlook calendar.

Very strange. I have a ticket open with RIM on this.... not sure if it's related to what you're asking or not....

I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure I was able to do this before with BES 3.6 but I could be wrong. A lot of my appointments are recurring i.e. Birthdays so if I don't see them I'll forget about them. I'd hate to have to put reminders on them just so they would sync.

UPDATE: I decided to try and switch from wireless to sync to wired and it put all my appointments back in. Then from the unit I asked for it to do the wireless synce from the handset and for some reason it seems to be staying on the unit. So it could be a just a matter of just re-reconciling (if that's a word)

DanMan - I am having the same difficulties you had. Can you please explain what you did to get your birthdays & anniversaries to show up on your Blackberry from Outlook?
