Default Lost everything after failed update. Can I restore data?

Please Login to Remove!

I did and update on Friday, which appeared to crash my BB 8310. The only way to get it back was to remove the battery.

Luckily it did not brick the phone. But I seem to have lost all my data, contacts etc,.,.

When the update happened, the Blackberry Desktop Application seemed to back up all the file before it started.

Can I restore from these files, and where are they?

A lesson to be learned here. ALWAYS make a backup before you start an upgrade of any kind and ALWAYS make a current backup on a regular basis.

You should be able to restore if the BB is still working properly.
