Do you have the e-mail address set up on your BalckBerry? Go to the Manage Internet E-mail icon and click the "E-mail Accounts link. It should display which e-mail addresses you currently have set up.

If it is there, check in the folders on your home screen for the icon. Things have a way of slipping into these sometimes...

Have you tried pulling the battery for about 30 seconds?

Also, from your home screen, press the menu key, then select "Show All". The icon may be hidden.

Delete the BIS service books by going to options - advanced options - service books (delete the ones that have that email address on them). Then re-send service books.

Click on your Manage Internet E-mail icon from your home screen. Do you see a link called "Service Books"?

At this point, you may want to contact your carrier. There may be something they can do from their end.

Go into Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing table.

Are there any entries in there?

Only four?

I would press the menu key and select register now.

Also, do you have EDGE in capital or lowercase letters.
