I have my Yahoo email account set up on my phone. For the last several days, my phone shows that I have (1) unread email message when I DO NOT. I have cleared all the messages out of my phone, I have emptied my Yahoo inbox online, I have even deleted the account off my phone and reinstalled it--all to no avail. It always shows as my having one new email message.

Now, as someone with OCD, you can imagine how vexing this is LOL. I am slowly going mad trying to figure out how to clear this problem up. Does anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to anyone before?

Since you have already checked all your folders, simply reboot by removing the battery for 30 sec and reinstall. When your BB boots up the message icon should be gone.

If that does not work. Use advanced back up and restore in BB desktop manager and clear the messages database.

Have you checked Saved Messages? It's the most common culprit.
