I own the domain of Kodemonkeys.com and am hosting out of my home. Since my ISP blocks port 80, I am using a relay service to alter the port on which the website is served.

The public URL is www DOT kodemonkeys DOT com. This URL is redirected to ww2 DOT kodemonkeys DOT com:666.

Right now the home page just has some simple text while I work on building the site.

My problem is that I am not able to access this site on my BB 8310, either by using the public URL or the redirected URL.

I have no problems at all visiting any other sites. But when I try to access my site, the connection times out. This certainly shouldn't happen since the home page just has a simple welcome message on it at the moment.

I've reviewed all of my internet options on my phone and can't see anything that would disallow me from browsing this site.

Can anyone else get to the home page? and any ideas why I can't get to it?

UPDATE:

I did some more testing and I've found that I can access the set using the Media.net browser, but I still can't access the site using the internet browser.

I've double-checking the options settings for both and they are identical.

Any suggestions? (other than "use media.net")

Nope, it doesn't work for me either. What is the media.net browser? Am I missing something on my BlackBerry?

I'm guessing the BlackBerry browser only works with port 80. With the redirection service, it's being automatically redirected so the effect is the same on the BlackBerry no matter which URL you try to go to.
