Default Media Player issue...

Please Login to Remove!

I searched for "media player stops when holstering" so don't hate.

The media player, via audio or the browser (moodio.fm), stops when I holster the BlackBerry 8830WE and I cannot find the option to stop that?

What fun it is to run if you have to carry your BB in your hand?!

Is your BB set to lock upon holstering?

Is Content protection turned on?

I have had that problem with my 8300 running 4.5.0.131.. It was rare but it happened.. Hasn't happened since I turn off the "lock upon holstering" setting.

Must be something with the sensor/magnet that tells the BB it's holstered.. Do you any encryption on the Media Card? (Options -> Media Card)

It may just be a bug if happens that much I would try a different OS.

Are you using 3rd party apps like Autostandby? (places the bb in standby mode but can be set to recognize Media Player)

I noticed this happening to me so what I did was lock the screen and then put it in the holster and it worked fine. My resolution.
