I fell asleep on my phone and when i got up it said to type blackberry twice...i did then it said final attempt to enter PW well i didnt enter it correctly the screen went white and i took out the battery. Now the phone wont turn back on but the red light in the corner wont turn off if the batterry is in
Your mistake was taking out the battery. The phone was performing a wipe, which it didn't complete successfully, hence your phone is now in a semi-wiped state.
As mendez777 says, you will have to do an OS install.
You can do it yourself by following the instructions in the sticky at the top of the 8300 forum for your model. If you have a Curve from Sprint, you have the 8330, not the 8180 (which doesn't exist).

Be patient, it may take multiple attempts before your PC detects your device.
