Angry Dropped Pearl into ocean--how do I sync data to new phone???

Please Login to Remove!

Yes, after manually adding 150 contact data to my phone, I dropped it into the Atlantic Ocean on vacation. I now have another Pearl but can't figure out how to restore/sync the data without having the original device.

Thanks,

Deborah

No, I've just been using the Contacts list provided by the BB Software. I did backup all of my data before I left and have been able to restore all of the SplashID data, but I just can't figure out how to restore the contacts list in particular.

Thanks for any help!!

Do you have a backup of the other device?

Yes, I do. But the Desktop software wants to have the original device. Is there a workaround, I hope??

It asks for the original in switch device. If you made a backup just go to Restore and restore the back up.

It's trying to do a switch device because it is detecting a new pin. The user should use TroyBrown's suggestion of a restore to the device. You can go into advanced and restore only the contacts if you wish.

Good Luck!
