My partner and I both have BB's (I have a Bold and she's got a Pearl) and we tried to add ourselves to each others BB Messenger list, we get as far as "Pending" but for some reason neither of us are getting any notification and therefore cannot use it.

What are we doing wrong?

Try to delete the previous one and retry it again. Or give ur xxx63723; a hard reset first

And make absolutely positive you have the pins correct.

I think it'll be the PIN issue, do I find the PIN in the "About" menu?

if you want to send your pin and make sure its correct, open up a text message and type the eord mypin as one word and your pin will come up, then send it. otherwise go under setting>status and your pin will be there.

Also, make sure that you're in eachothers' address books with your PIN numbers stored as part of your contact info.

Right guys, I've tested this and it appears I was entering my email address instead of my PIN. It now works fine. Thanks for your help guys!

Hi all, i didnt want to make another thread so i post the problem in here...

I have someone in The US on my BB messenger list. I am located in The Netherlands. we can be chatting and all of a sudden her name on my list has a red circle with a white cross in it. I cant sent her any messages nor cant se send me any messages but she is able to talk to other ppl on her list and so can i.

What seems to be the problem here?

That means one of you has gone "offline" due to network coverage. It could be as simple as walking into a dead spot or driving into a tunnel. Happens a lot when someone is on a moving train. It could also be because a cell tower goes offline briefly. Usually the connection will re-establish itself when coverage comes back. Just waling around the corner can be all it takes.
