Default Give your strategies for AutoText abreviations

Friends:

What are your strategies for AutoText abreviations? What are some of your most urseful AutoTexts?

Here are some suggestions I found, but I'm curious if one of you has something better:

A good abbreviation is:
- short
- easy to remember
- unlikely to be typed by accident
- unique
Duplicating an abbreviations first character (ddate, ssig, zzip) is one way of creating abbreviations that meet these critieria.

Wirelessly posted

I did simply things like "r" for "are". Same with "u" "ur", "bb", "bdm" for BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

I could go on forever lol.

I use some triple letter combos for things like my signature with all my contact info listed. "bbb" is the one I use for that. Just pick letter combos that you won't normally use on their own.

Hmm....:

I think you all's strategies are quite simple. I'm wondering if I'm looking for something that I should not un-necessarily complicate.
