Default automatically makes calls

My BB has been doing a lot of dialing all on its own lately. In the past, I've attributed it to me accidently hitting speed-dials. However, yesterday, it made an outgoing call while sitting on my dresser. I found this out because the person called me back. I checked my call log and sure enough, it showed an outgoing call to her number a few minutes earlier. There was no one else in the house at the time. Another person called and said I had called him 3 times that day, when I never initiated the call myself.

Any idea what's going on?

Welcome to the forums.

Did you get the device wet at some point?

Default Not submerged, anyway

Thanks for the prompt reply. It's been exposed to rain, but not submerged or even really wet.

Even moisture from having the device in the bathroom while you shower can cause issues.

What does your water damage indicator show?

Yeah, high humidity situations and being exposed to even a little bit of moisture can affect the keyboard in the manner described. The water damage indicators may or may not show the exposure, but the keyboard may still have experienced the damage.
