Default Messenger problems

My messenger keeps arbitrarily dumping me into idle mode, for no particular reason. Then when I go to log on, I get an error message saying "User already signed on using another client." How can I keep this from happening all the time?

Welcome to the forums.

Are you talking about BlackBerry Messenger, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger?

Have you tried removing the battery for 30 seconds (while the device is still powered on)?

Thanks for the welcome. This is on my BB. It's the Enterprise Messenger. I did as you suggested and it now shows me as being active. Should this fix it for good? This problem happens with some frequency, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day.
Thanks for your help!

I don't know if it will fix it permanently, but it is always the first step to take when your device is having issues.
