Default A few questions that have been asked of me.

Hi there. We have a couple of executives that are BB users and have asked me a few questions that I do not know the answer to. I've searched on here but it doesn't seem clear to me if and how they can be done.

1. A BB user has about 30 PIN's so he can PIN to PIN. He wants to get a new BB. Is there a way to move the PIN's to the new bb and at the same time, update all the other BB's with his new PIN.

2. We want to have the ability to disable both send and receive from a blackberry in regards to PIN, SMS, MMS and emails. I know we can set policy's to disable send but they can still receive PIN messages. We can disable redirection but we can still send.

3. We want the ability to perform OTA backups and restores, but where would the .ipd files be stored? on the BES server?

The bb's we use are 8700, 8900, 8300 and 8100 series with various OS but they are all above 4.0. Our BES server is v4.0.6.7 for Exchange 2003.

Thanks for the help.

I believe if you are on BES, the PIN will update automatically when he changes his BB.

No idea about the other two questions.
