Can I put my contacts into different groups within my address book? I just got the Blackberry 8300 and my previous phone died and they couldn't synch my contacts. My company IT dept. set up the email on the Blackberry so all of the contacts are email addresses. I don't want to scroll through all of these when looking for a phone number. Can I have email contacts separate from tel contacts?

Welcome to the forums.

You could set them up in categories. Edit each contact and give the "email contacts" the category of Business. Then give the "phone number contacts" the category of Personal.

Once you have them all set properly. From the address book and press the menu key, select filter. Then you can choose which category you which to see.
