I lost all my past appointments!!!

I use 8310 ATT Curve that I sync with Google Calendar via GSync and also with my Outlook 2003. I'm on BIS.

The BB is set up to keep past appointments for 2 weeks and future appointments 4 weeks ahead. I think this is the most that BB allows.

Google Calendar and Outlook are supposed to keep ALL appointments.

So the question is - what went wrong? I lost at least 6 months worth of appointments.

Do you have a backup?

BB can go up to 24 weeks ahead, but I think ther eis a setting to keep everything.

Did your Outlook calendar get deleted as well as the BB?

Google Sync will not sync every single appt, only so many past and so many future apps.

Are all the appts still in outlook or do have a recent backup of your device?

Yes, I do. I back up every week. However, I'm not sure when the issue started as I did not have to look at past appointments for about 3 weeks.

If I ran a backup, I will loose everything that was done from the date of that back-up till today, am I correct?



I double checked my settings and here they are: the BB calendar is set up to keep appointments forever. Google Sync is set up to sync future events for 24 weeks and keep past events for 4 weeks.

Google Sync erases the appointments that are more than 4 weeks past and more than 24 weeks in the future from the bb but is supposed to keep them on Google Calendar.

The Outlook is supposed to keep EVERYTHING.

Unfortunately, both Google and Outlook calendars are empty. Any ideas?
