Default except for international calls why use skype/iskoot on bb?

Please Login to Remove!

I've got an 8830 BES and just installed skype on my MAC and iskoot on BB

But can't figure out what value it is on BB. other than for contacting an international skype user

Since it uses minutes, wouldn't I just call (dial the regular way) anyone in US?

I see no reason to use it at all.

The reason is that skype charges 0.017 cents per minute when you make international calls. Instead of waiting to get home to call from the computer, one calls from the cell phone through skype. There is no reason for having iskoop if you don't make any calls or like to chat on skype.
