My first post, so apologies if this has been dealt with, but I've searched for a definitive answer for the last two days.

I have a Pearl 8100 and a set of Motorola HT820 bluetooth headphones. I'm running V. 4.7.0.32 and thought it would support A2DP on my phone, but I can only use it as a handsfree headset. On the Blackberry, in device properties, it lists my HT820's services as "Hands-Free Unit" and "Headset".

I thought by now I'd be able to use the device as a replacement for my iPod. Has anyone managed to use their 8100 with an A2DP device? I'm presuming that it's irrelevant which A2DP device I'm using.

you need to install the device software version 4.5 on your pearl 8100, i recommend you the latest available Latest OS: 8100 4.5.0.174/4.5.0.124 (English & East Asian)

I guess the V. 4.7.0.32 you are running is for your blackberry desktop software not your phone.

I have a 8100 running OS 4.5.0.124 and a2dp works great, but no video support just music.
