Default Bold or Javelin?

Both are in the same (or close) price range. It's big money for me so I want to pick the right one.

Some points:

- Not really dying for 3G but hey, it's no harm.
- I'd like a decent camera.
- WiFi at a decent range.
- Best, most lasting and least dirty trackball, God those thigs are fragile.
- Don't really care about the size. (Screen size is another story).

and yeah, well. I'd love to hear your opinion. You should back up why you chose the device.

P.S. I KNOW the power and capacities of each phone I'm just curious about what people think of them and why.

Both are great devices, but with your stated parameters (camera, least dirty trackball) get the 8900.

I have both, and like them both. I like the 3G on the Bold, but since you don't care... the WiFi makes both speedy as heck.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Curve 8900)

I agree with JSanders as well, as is required by law...

You know StarChest I'm in the same situation. I have a BB 8320 but from all the wear and tear, I'm looking to upgrade.
I love the Bold's form, it fits nicely in my hand and it looks very well, masculine. The keyboard is nice but looks like I may need to get use to it. The screen is magnificent of course and the leather backing ( i think its real right?)
The 8900 has a familiar form, the camera is awesome and I'm sold with the qwerty keyboard.
Wifi on both is a great asset and what would help me make up my mind is, as you mentioned, the trackball. I bought a black trackball for my 8320 and its such a burden lifted from the white trackball. I was so OCD on keeping it as clean as possible which was impossible since I'm a part time Gardener lol. But That's my dilemma as well, a bold or an 8900 lol. Best of luck to you!
9700 Bold on TMO USA.
