Default Extracting Memo's and Tasks without Desktop Manger

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.
  • My Blackberry Bold might be corrupt and has gone into reset mode asking for me to type the word "blackberry" into the welcome screen to allow me access to the handset.

  • There seems to be a problem with my password - I have tried entering my usual keylock password (4 numbers) but it is not accepting. (I still seem to have 3 attempts left though!)

  • I need to get my Memos and Tasks off the handset which I am aware I can't to do simply via Mass Storage mode.

  • PocketMac (on my Mac laptop) has never syncing with my Bold and Desktop manger (on PC laptop) is of course asking for my password which it won't accept.

Is there any encrypted way of extracting the files I need before the handset deletes them all?

All the best,
Josh

(P.s. I have spent a long time on the phone to o2 and have exhausted all resources there. They have redirected me to Rim who I will get in touch with but just wanted to see if anyone knew anything in the forum.)

Nope, no way to do so without a password UNLESS you have a previous backup. Do you?

For the password issue, are you certain you are entering numbers or letters? Is the password still maski g with **** or has it reverted to the actual characters?
