Question .vcs extension

Please Login to Remove!

Forgive me if this has been covered (couldn't find it though), but if someone sends me an Outlook (2003) calendar attachment (vcs), when I get the email on my BB 7280 (v4.0.2.49), I see the attachment but cannot do anything with it. Is there a trick to this? Also, I'm not on BES. Cingular.

Thx in advance!

I second this.

Neither will the 7290 import a .msg OR .ics. OS v. 4.0.2.49 - T-Mobile

Even my old Sidekick can import a .vcs file :(

Is there ANY aftermarket software that can provide this functionality...that "should" be in the BB already???

Thanks in advance

The OS should still support importing a standard calendar entry format .

but if you think about it the reason it does not is you can sync with you computers cal, so if mail a vcs you could open it in oulook then sync (you and i know this is pain to have to wait until we see another computer to open a file or to have a device out there what will do somthing your's can't)

That's one way to look at it. Forces user to HAVE to use their system. I can't get emailed something from someone and add it.

And not all users have BES OR use Winx SW.

Thanks anyways. Shame really.
