Default Beejive / Iskoot not working, TCP problems?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a BB Bold 9000 but I am not on a BB contract, so I am using the internet via wifi.

However the applications I have downloaded aren't working.

Iskoot says there's a problem with Carrier TCP and Beejive says there are data connection problems. I have no idea what a Carrier TCP even is I can't use t-mobile's internet as it's too expensive on my non-contact.

Is there anything I can do to fix this and make them work?

Please help!!!! Thanks

So basically I need to pay something monthly to get it to work properly? Is there no way around this?

Yes, you will need to subscribe to a BlackBerry data plan. BlackBerry devices do not function correctly without a BlackBerry data plan.
