Friends:

I need help getting my BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 to recieve files via BlueTooth.
I managed to transfer contacts to a MacBook Air, but I couldn't send a picture to it.

In manage connections, the the BlueTooth is ON but it has a little dash next
to the checkbox, not a green check mark like Wi-Fi and the Mobile Network do.

Security level is High on BB and OS is 4.6.x

Any ideas of what I should try?

Are you trying to send files TO the BlackBerry or FROM the BlackBerry?

In order to send files via Bluetooth to the BlackBerry, you must INITIATE the transfer FROM the BlackBerry.

Go to Media, press Menu, select Receive Using Bluetooth.
