Please Login to Remove!

Allright every time I PTT on my new curve I get a direct send my info received from everyone including existing contacts. I have read the threads on this and done what they have suggested and still no luck.

Also I have 2 envelopes that do the exact same thing as far as collecting e-mails and texts...how do I delete the duplicate?

Dont know about the first, the second. do you have a messages folder and a sms/mms folder
or a messages folder and a [email address] folder?
for the first, you go to messages-options-general options-sms and email inboxes and change to combined
for the second, highlight the youremail folder, menu-hide

Direct Send is something you are both sending and reveiving. To turn it off on your 8350i:

Phone application
Menu
Options
Direct Connect
Auto Send My Info - set to Off

You need to tell the people your DC with to turn theirs off as well.

You are receiving them from others - correct. They need to turn their Direct Send off.

this drove me crazy too cause my PTT list is pretty large and not everyone on my list knew how to set it to off.

Default Having same problem

I am having the same problem, but I have checked some of the older phones that I get the message from, and there is no setting on the phone to turn it off, I believe I have checked out every menu on the phone on the I355.
