I know this has been covered (Attachments) but it did not yeild any answer.

I need to send a picture via email from my 7280 (it is saved to my bb).

How do I do this???

The only way it worked for me was when I composed the MMS and attach picture from BB.
it works but I don't know if there is a better way

You can also send them via BBMessenger to another BB, but not via e-mail, though to be honest I do not know or have tried forwarding, so I do not know if it would work with an attachment. Give it a shot, email yourself a picture from the pc, and forward it from the BB to someone else, and post the results here. I am sure others would be interested in finding out.

I emailed my self from my pc to my bb. I then forwarded the message to my blogspot account to post to my blog. It worked, my text was there as well as my picture. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say it would be nice to be able to attach a picture from memory to an outgoing message......you listening RIM?

Sounds like a good suggestion, especially as the user base evolves, but one thing to consider is that the pics saved on the BB are fairly stripped down via the download process. I imagine the quality of pics sent from the BB to non-BBs or non-phones would leave a little something to be desired.
