Default Trouble with T-Mobile Mail Connector

Please Login to Remove!

I been using my BB 7290 for about 2 weeks with the Mail Connector. Yesterday at 3PM, i stopped getting email. I went back to my work PC, and checked everything, and it was fine. So I deleted the account, uninstalled Mail Connector and started the process over. Email started flowing again. Shortly after that, it suddenly stopped. Is there anything I can look at or investiage. The icon shows its all ok, but how can I verify that the place it needs to connect to is ok and not blocked somewhere along the way? What else can I do?

What is the reason for using Mail Connector? I personally wouldnt even use it simply for the fact that your PC must be running at all times. I know since the T-Mobile migration to the new system "BIS-T" there was a new version of Mail Connector released. You may want to contact T-Mobile to verify that [not like they will know]

T-Mobile = Morons.

What I would recommend is if your running microsoft outlook, to setup a forwarding rule in outlook to forward messages to your bb device. You can setup a tm.blackberry.net account and have outlook forward to there, and then your reply address can be set as yoru corporate address.

Forwarding of emails are usually disabled by the Exchange admin so Branko's idea did not work for me at all.
I have been using Mail Connector and I had the exact same problem after I installed the latest version on MC.
So I deleted the service book entries for all the email address from my BB. Power off the BB. Restart the computer where MC is running.
Resend the Service book.
Power on the BB and It worked fine.
Try it.
I do have this issue, where once in a while I get the certificate email that I should not delete. i don't know how to get rid of it.

I justed tried the above steps and no dice. How can I tell if the Mail Connector is really working?

I also tried the desktop redirector and the exchange admin is blocking the type of attachment it requires.

delete your service book entry for this account and then try to reconfigure it and then it will ask for to install the mail connector. At that time click on Share other person's mail connector and then enter the mail connector Client ID from Settings. That was the last thing for me to do and it worked. otherwise I had to do a clean reinstall of mail Connector.
Good luck.
