I have just got an 8900 and it is driving me insane.

I have transferred all my contacts to the Blackberry using outlook express but I cannot find some of them. The maddening thing is that if I receive a call from the "missing" contacts the details of the callers name is shown. Therefore the contact details are on the phone somewhere - but where?

Are they on the SIM card - if so how do I use the different memories (SIM and phone) and/ or control which is used?

Can anyone help please?

Check in your Address Book to see that you don't have filter set.

A filter will block contacts and make you think you have none.

Hey thanks I came here with the same problem and I did infact have a filter that I didn't know about!!!

try using the setup wizard?

Have a look and make sure they're not in specific address groups; depending on how your Outlook contacts are grouped it may have separated them and you could only be viewing a specific group when you go into address book on the BlackBerry.
