My bb7290 will not unlock it's num lock, so now I can't type my password. The standard way (using the right shift) isn't working. I also tried a hard reset by taking out the battery for more than 30 sec, but no cure there.

Who can help me with a solution to this problem?

Can you enter your password using shift when characters are required in the same way as you would when you enter numbers? If not the keyboard may either have something jamming it or it has broken internally.

Number keys I can enter but the other characters don't react, no matter whether I use the shift key or not, so somehow the shiftkey seems to block
