Hi, I've been searching the forum, trying to find any instructions on if it's possible to use my bb as a modem.
Last week, I finally had the funds to buy a refurbished laptop, a gateway m-series.
My mistake in the gateway purchase was getting one with windows vista. Since I have no clue, and don't know any better- I feel pretty stupid for getting a laptop with vista.

I have been trying to figure out how to get my bb to work as a modem.

Two things I've tried: installed a bluetooth thing that plugs into the usb port. The laptop and bb find each other, and even find my husband's LG phone. How can I get the laptop to dial up, work as a modem? Is it possible to do this using bluetooth?

And what's the alternative? Tethering the bb via USB to my laptop? Is there a thread that exists that has that information?

Oh, and I have a 8330, using US Cellular with unlimited personal plan.
Thanks for the help!
