Default BB Desktop Manager - Sync

Please Login to Remove!

A quick question..

If I installed the BB D.M. on the users PC is it possible to run a full sync when the users plugs the cable in ?

Thing is I have a person who has 30 messages in outlook and 50 on the BB due to them moving messages in outlook to the PST and thus the blackberry does not know what to do with these message.

Ideally what I am looking for is the ability to do a full sync everytime the BB is plugged into the PC so all the messages match in outlook and the BB.

Hope someone can help.

Syncing does not touch the messages. Syncing only syncs Calendar, Tasks, Notes and Contacts. Not messages.

Damn...

How do people who run BES cope with users that move messages form their inbox in outlook to a PST and still have the message on the BB which is never deleted ?

Thanks

I always file email on the BB and let Autoarchive handle moving email to a PST.

Hard deletes and moves to a PST will never reconcile. That's just the way it is.

We train the users. It is difficult and time consuming, but eventually they catch on. Moving an item to a PST will not move/delete it on a BlackBerry.
