Default 2 blackberry's and i only need 1!

Please Login to Remove!

i dropped my blackberry smartphone in water this wk. i immediately went into local store and i had no insurance so i bought a brand new phone and went ahead and mailed in the rebate.well now my other blackberry that i thought had water damage has completely dried out and functions fine but verizon will not refund me because i already mailed in the rebate on new phone.help! is there any one or any way i could resell this phone that i thought was damaged??

Welcome to the forums.

You could try to sell the device. I would be upfront and let the buyer know the device has water damage but is currently working.

Another option is to sell the brand new one and keep using your old one.

keeep new one and save old one as a back-up just incase

Great idea!

Plus with liquid damage phones, you never know when things will go wrong. And if they do, your on your own! Liquid damage voids the warranty. I would just use the new one, keep the old one just in a case.

You can always fully-disclose the condition of the water-damaged one on eBay and buy some accessories for your new one.
