Default new 8800 user sim trouble

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there.

i have just had an 8800.

From what i can make out so far you CANNOT use a payg sim correct?

If so can ANY contract sim work?

i will be looking for a cheap deal as im not a big call user.

Im in the UK if that makes a difference.

i realise you cannot use the email function without subscribing to blackberry.

Any help would be apprecited...

cheers

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

If you are looking to use as a phone or text prepay should work

You need BB data for the current GPS apps out there for the BB. Not sure if the 8800 requires data for MMS or not. I suspect it does but that may depend on the OS loaded on the 8800.
