Default Some Duplicate Messages

Please Login to Remove!

First I want to thank everyone on these boards for being available to help.

Second, I've searched the forums for posts dealing with duplicate messages. My company doesn't have a BES (next year budget item) so our users use the desktop redirector. I have one user who whenever she receives a message from someone at my organization, she receives the message twice. She doesn't receive duplicates of every message she receives but just duplicates from people with an e-mail address at my organization.

I followed some of the ideas listed in other posts. I made sure she has no filtering or auto forwarding rules setup in Outlook 2003 and she doesn't use the web client either.

So at this point, I'm a little lost as to what to look into next.

Appreciate in advance for any and all help in this matter.

This one is a bit far fetched but I have seen someone with a similar problem and what they were doing was forwarding their work e-mail to home e-mail address and then set up in outlook to forward that e-mail to the BB.

So in effect all her private mail is single and the work is double since it comes from two sources, if that is not the case I am sorry but that is the only explanation I have.

Check the mailbox rights on the person that she is receiving the duplicates from and check if she is listed as a delegate for that person. Also, it might be a good idea to watch the sender when they compose a message to see exactly how the user is populating the address (pulls from GAL, auto populates in To: field, etc) and try some testing there.
