Default homescreen icon question

Please Login to Remove!

I have (for the first time since I've had my blackberry, which is over a year) got a new homescreen icon with the numeral 1 in front of it.

The icon is of the earth (browser???). I assume it is an indication that I have one message but I do not understand how to access it and/or delete it.

Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

Go to Messages, press the menu key and select View Folder. From there check your Browser Push Messages or WAP Push Messages Folders. You should see an unread item in one of those folders.

Maybe you found the first Dragonball!

Actually it's either a browser message or a Blackberry Messenger message/alert/request.
