How do i get rid of it on my 7230 on start up.......

clingpeach, what instant messaging program do you use? If you are not sure, check on your blackberry under options/applications.

I had the same question and tech support couldn't help. One of the forum members here suggested putting my SIM in another phone and clearing the messages (which didn't show up on the BB as messages). It worked!

The other option if you have no friends with a phone under the same carrier is to take it to a local carrier outlet and have them clear your SIM.

Stupid AIM client! I now use Ramble IM...no more messages!
