Exclamation Bluetooth Frustration!!!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all!
Can someone please tell me which version of bluetooth the bb 7100i has (bonus points for chipset, ie, widcomm, etc). Now, for clarity I am not asking about the implemented profiles available in the current bluetooth stack. I want to know if it is ver. 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0 (riiiight)

I have sifted blackberry.com's knowledge base with a fine toothed comb. I have done searches here and on google, to no avail. It's almost as if there's some grand conspiracy and rim doesn't want us to know which version of bluetooth they implemented on the bb 7100i

all of the 7100 series (first gen, atleast) are supposed to have BT 1.1, however they could have upgraded it to the 2.0 specs that the 8700 supposedly has for the 7130e and 7100i (second gen)...

Wirelessly posted (BB 7100i: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

Thanks jibi! You consistently come through! Out of curiousity, what is your source? I searched quite diligently and couldn't find that info, and I'm usually pretty good with the research.
