I just bought a 5790 on eBay. When I press any key, I get the famous "security violation" message. There was no disk, documents with it, but I did get the cradle. I tried to download the 4.0 software AND the 3.7. or whatever but neither seems to leap into action on my desktop. Am I screwed or what? Do I have to get RIM to approve me as a new owner in some way?
